Big News! This Blog is Moving!

Yes!  You've read right!  This here blog is moving to another free blog site.  You can find the same content and same great photos of my collection at Coin Purse Obsessed at WordPress.  The reason I'm moving this blog is simple:  the photos don't load the same way as they used to.  The way they are installed interfere with the text too much and move it around too much... however, with WordPress, you'll find a new way of getting in and reading more about my coin purses and handbags.  There's a new, beautiful background and a the pictures will load well too.

So, please join me over there and I'll keep showing you the best of my collection.  Thank you.

But don't fret, I'm not closing this blog completely.  Nope, I'll be keeping this one open for my own uses; for when I need to jog my memory of which purses I've shown you and so I can remind myself not to repeat my posts that have been done here over on WordPress.

I See Red!

This lovely little beauty is from the Redland Bay markets. I bought this one for around $5.00 at a leather goods stall - and another for Mum because I love her. However, I got this one mainly because of how gorgeously red it is... and not just any red; it a certain kind of red that I love.

When I found it amongst all the brown and blues, it jumped out at me and I just knew I couldn't leave without it. And so I have it in my possession. It's an absolute must in my lot of purses; but yet to be used. And it will be soon; as my days get busier and more social with Winter around the corner.

Fifty Dollars!

Now, we've always wanted to see our money everywhere; and now we can with this vintage Australian wallet. It was picked up in a charity store not far from where I normally shop; and it took me back to a time when I was in primary school and our money was made from paper and not the plastic stuff it's made from now. But I don't remember ever seeing these ones around anywhere; so I think it's a one-of-a-kind.

I haven't used it as yet (as with quite a few of my wallets and purses), but I will when the right occasion comes up. Otherwise I'll be keeping an eye out for other wallets just like this one with other denominations on it like a twenty-dollar bill or even a ten. Wouldn't it be fun to find them all?
